Next weekend is the Chicago Pen show. Roger will be there Thurs – Sun. He is looking for collections to buy. I will be getting pics of what he is buying and will be updating the blog.

Two Montblanc collections!

The coollections (intentional typo) are coming in right and left! Here’s an example fountain pen collection:

1. Montblanc Alexandre Dumas – sealed (son, wrong signature – his FATHER wrote The Three Musketeers and other works – research error at MB that makes for an interesting collectible!)
2. Montblanc Friedrich Schiller – sealed
3. Montblanc Oscar Wilde – Sealed
4. Montblanc Ramses II (solid gold with a beautiful lapis lazuli cap in 146 size)

The second collection looks like this:

1. Montblanc Imperial Dragons FP/BP/MP set
2. Montblanc Lorenzo De Medici (drool-worthy)
3. Montblanc Louis XIV
4. Montblanc Prince Regent
5. Montblanc Semiramis

We’re looking for buyers for each of these collections as a complete set. If they doesn’t move in LA (!), they will be for sale individually (although, as always, the best deal is as a collection!).

LA Pen show next weekend!

Roger and company will be headed to LA later this week. Roger is expecting another new collection and will have it at the tables in LA. Roger is also looking for collections and pens to buy. See everyone in LA!

Roger is at Philadelphia getting ready to open Fri – Sun. On Sat he will be presenting his seminar on buying and selling pens from 2-3pm. Roger has our full inventory with him. I drove by three malls tonight around 10pm and they were all full and jammed with cars. I am impressed that they manage to get people out to shop tonight. In that spirit Roger and I are listing the following pens for sale that just came in and are not on the web site:
